Meg Moore

An avid hiker, I began my photography experience on the trail. What started as simple cellphone pictures grew into an adventurous process of capturing moments through a longer lens. I worked as a blogger and wildlife photographer for Virginia's Department of Wildlife Resources in 2022, searching for animals across the state's diverse regions. I spent four months of 2023 backpacking the Appalachian Trail, and have since continued work as a freelance photographer. In 2024, I moved from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia to southern New Jersey where I currently reside and work. My photography subjects of special interest include portraits, wildlife, and cars -- but, of course, I am always on the lookout for new and inspiring scenes that speak truth.
