Nina Borowsky

I spent my early childhood surrounded by picturesque fields and mountains. This upbringing fuelled a passion in nature and moving image.   I enrolled at the Kharkiv State Academy of Arts to do a four year degree in Theatre Production. After which I worked as a television producer at state television.   Soon after I moved to England and have been living in the South ever since, where my growing interest in imagery led me to photography.   There are two dissimilar subject within my work which I thoroughly enjoy exploring which are portraits and a more abstract view. In the portraits I like to bring out each subjects personality and their interests / passions or get a glimpse into intimate moments of their personal life. I also greatly enjoy the communication you have with the people when taking their photo. The abstract work explores a dreamy and romanticised view of contemporary landscapes and the human interaction within, I create movement and patterns within the landscape, seeking out naturally occurring colour pallets.
