As the middle child of 4 siblings, I was always finding new ways to creatively express myself. In a household full of rambunctious, high-energy driven over achievers, it was a mission in itself to stand out! Since there were so many of us, sporting events and traveling were out of the question due to my parents' strict budget. Instead, we found ourselves playing outside most of the day after school, in our small town in the Netherlands. We were content with what little we had and whatever we could find at the time. We never had the feeling we were missing out on anything. Creativity has always played a huge role in my life from a very early age. I was always the quiet, shy boy with many hidden talents, or so i've been told. My dad talked me into going to college for law, so I took his advice. I ended up graduating a law student. I have Him to thank for that. Being young and naive, the next few years weren't quite as dreamy as I thought they'd be. Instead of landing a full-time gig at a fancy law agency, I ended up doing the odd job here and there. Never content with what i was doing, and no plans for what to do to get the creative juices flowing again. A year down the line, my dad bought me my first DSLR camera for my birthday, and that was the beginning of something new. I started taking pictures as a hobby, and it soon blew up into me becoming a full time wedding photographer. Today I have my own team and photograph wedding on a regular basis traveling in Europe for destination weddings. I wanted to do even more and decided to help other photographers obtain the very same documents I struggled to find when I needed them most. I have started since started several businesses and this is my latest challenge to myself. Today, I am content. Helping others impress their clients, seems like the right call for me.
