I have been doing photography off and on for 14-15 years, started out with a hobby later turning into a school project, back into a hobby/just seeing what I could do. Even still I mostly photograph for fun, while I don’t really stick to one “genre” of photography, I like to bounce/freelance from stilllife, landscape, waterscape/underwater to just general food photography. Even after all that time photographing and learning, I don’t consider myself a professional but I’m not completely an amateur neither.
