"Light and shadow determine our daily life. We catch only a brief moment with our watchful eyes. They all tell a story." That's how I interpret my photographs, or something like that. Almost obsessive is my search for unique and unusual light shows. Light and shadow as the primary design element, an interesting play of colors, perhaps still with lines, patterns, a special perspective, all this forms the basis of my stage. But it's only through the human being at the center of this setting that an overall picture develops with its own story! The formerly static stage suddenly becomes dynamic, alive! A chapter opens and I begin to read.. But to come to this realization, it took many years and a key experience to finally find my passion in street photography. In 2019, the passion for photography has finally grabbed me again after a long break. The switch from analog to digital photography made it easier for me to get back into it. To be able to act as unobtrusively as possible in street photography, you need a small handy camera. The decision fell on the Fuji X-100V. Its 23mm (35mm full frame) fast lens proves to be the perfect design tool for this purpose. Street photography is a broad term for me. Because it contains those touching moments that welcome you with a very special atmosphere. They invite you to linger and speak to your heart.
