A Cup of Tea

Thank you for entering the competition and congratulations on your image. Its always a great feeling as a photographer when you have an idea in mind and you have the patience and perseverance to achieve it .Waiting fir the exact moment when the light was just right has rewarded you with a very pleasing image. If i was shooting the image i might have considered a slightly plainer cup which may have added that little bit more impact. But well done and im pleased your patience was so well rewarded.

Thank you for entering the completion and congratulations on being the winner. From the moment I saw this image there was something about it that stayed with me. I loved the detail in the face with the dirt covered sleeve ending to the tin mug that held a well earned cup of tea.

Thank you for submitting this image and what a great idea ! There is so much to look at and enjoy and the little splash in the cup at 1 is a very nice touch. When you keep looking at the image there is always something different to see. If i was shooting this i may have tried to get my background a little cleaner with a slightly more even and whiter appearance. But overall and very nice photo.

Thank you for submitting this image. There is no doubt the cup of tea is the real star of the show filling the frame. The lighting is wonderful and i like the black and white. This is a really good example of how sometimes a simple subject really well done can make for a great image.
