A Lone Fox

Congratulations on being in my top 10! This is a brilliant photograph of a fox. I love how you have captured the fox on the prowl, the expression on the fox really looks like its about to attack. It looks as though you shot this image quite low down, which really works as you look up the fox from the nose and his face becomes the focal point. I also like that you have placed the fox to the side of the image, great composition. Well done!

Congratulations for being first place in my fox competition. This photograph is adorable. Of coarse, fox cubs are very cute, but the way you have just captured it peeping out and looking right into the camera is brilliant. I love your use of depth of field and shooting through the plants, it really gives layers to this photograph. Well done!

Congrats for making my top 10. What a brilliant capture!!! Being there to capture wild foxes is hard enough so to capture one doing something completely different is great. I'm glad you decided to shoot low to the ground and also place the start of the tree part way up the frame. I think it works better having some of that grass in the foreground so well done.

Your photograph just had to make it into my top 10. I love it. It really does say Lone Fox, and perfectly fits the brief. I think the fox stands out so fiery red against the darker and colder background and although the fox is only small in the frame, it really stands out and catches your eye. The lighting is perfect, capturing shadow and highlight brilliantly. Well done!
