A Solitary Small House or Cottage

oh my, what a sweet little cottage this is. very very pretty and bright and i loved the colours and flowers next to it. what a fantastic find it really is like something out of a fairytale. love to know where it was taken but very well done.

i picked this one because its simply beautiful. the photo has a lovely serenity to it and i do love the pink wood on the thatched cottage. the cottage is in the centre of the photo but the people boarding near by adds an interest to the picture whilst not detracting from the focal point.

i chose this for second as its a lovely traditional small cottage bang on brief and its just such a lovely photo. its framed by the trees in the background and the light is natural and bright enhancing the golden stone. its defiantely a cottage id take a photo of if i saw it.

wow what a great lot of photos for this comp i wish i could have stretched the top ten...in the end i chose this because its a lovely little house on its own but set in beautiful surroundings. its the focal point of the picture and the lighting in particular in this photo is stunning.

i wanted my last top ten to be diffrent from the other more traditional houses or quirky cottages and this one drew me in . typically spanish its a lovely house and i like the fact you took it from the steps as it draws the eye up to the property. with the wooden gates and the lovely overhanging tree framing the top its a wonderful capture.
