There's just something about this image that keeps me coming back. Very rarely do you see an ICM image with contrasting lines. The contrast between parallel and verticle within the image is striking, while the path between the trees is sunlit with beautiful shadows and it draws me in to wonder what lies beyond. Your ICM technique is pleasing to the eye as are the tones and shadows. Congratulations on being my judge winner!
This is such a pretty and inspirational piece of work, the technique used in the processing of the image by using multiple exposures has created this wonderful painterly affect, and I think it works very well. The square crop and central focal point are a perfect choice for this image also. Well done!
This image really stood out to me! Although I instantly recognise this well known Venice location, the simple and minimalistic approach combined with strong composition, tonal gradient, and beautiful ICM technique brings this image together beautifully. The crop is perfect also. Congratulations on this wonderful image!

I just adore the artistic technique used to create this image of Brograve Mill. The Turneresque mood, colour and texture captured my eye in an instance! I know this location well having visited some years back, I recognised the distinctive shape and sails of the mill which absolutely suit the image and the style of processing you have used here. Very nice indeed! Congratulations on being my second choice!

***This contest is open to subscribers (members on the Challenger, Pro and Master subscription tiers). However if you're not a paying subscriber you can still purchase entries for £2 (GBP) per image.*** Abstract landscape photography is a refreshing relief from the ‘cookie-cutter’ landscape shots we find everywhere. The best abstract landscape shots are pure demonstrations of a photographer’s original vision, not just a formulaic representation. Think less ‘descriptive’ and more ‘aesthetic’ and you’ll be on the right track!
I just adore the blue tones in this image, the use of intentional camera movement to create an ethereal scene incorporating the heavy clouds with the mountainous landscape of the Lake District really adds to the drama. The tones give the image a sense of calm and mood which are the main elements that drew me to this image. My only criticism is the dust/rain spots. Clean those up and you'll have an image to be proud of.
