Aging and Older People

Created and judged by Ange

Brief
This contest is created and judged by a member of the Photocrowd community. Want to run your own? Find out more >

In this contest I would like to see your photos which show elderly/aged men and women. Societies across the world often have differing attitudes towards older people; some may embrace their wisdom, life skills and knowledge, and include and cherish them within the family and wider society, but others may isolate and marginalise them, leading to loneliness and decline. You may wish to enter a portrait image, showing well-worn skin or a lifetime of emotions, or wider scenes containing one or a number of elderly/aged people, which may show any of the varying realities of ageing. Please only enter images of people. I look forward to seeing your entries.

How it works

Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.

Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
