Aircraft with Propellers (No Jets)

This captured the moment with exquisite timing as you can see the pylon is starting to deflate the bridge provides sufficient interest in the otherwise bland sky and a fail for the aircraft to contrast against. The shutter speed has allowed for some prop blur so isn’t frozen

This is a very dramatic image which really strikes out with the colours of the Pitts Special contrasting with the pyrotechnics. You have captured the moment and motion but your shutter speed was correct in that you haven’t frozen the propeller. Great work

The image of the water bomber at work flanked by two wind turbines shows the skill of the pilots and also captures the difficulty of their role. I would have been tempted to doa slightly tighter crop but it is a very good image that you can be proud of.

This is a moving image and brings to mind a tribute to those who did not return. I like the use of monochrome and especially the crew member in the smoke . This is a moving tribute to both crew and the aircraft they flew. We will remember them.

This image struck me as being a different view and also a tribute to the unseen team of engineers who keep these aircraft flying, it very nearly made my top 10 but the light acted as a beacon which drew my eyes away from the aircraft, possibly that could be toned down with some post production but an excellent study showing the structure and maintenance
