Love this all action sidecar MX photo. I used to watch this kind of racing when I was younger. The monochrome conversion works really well too. The frantic race action has been perfectly captured with the correct shutter speed to freeze the roost along with excellent timing to get the chasing sidecar in frame as well. Great photo - well done. It has everything I was looking for in a great sports photo - impact - technique & timing.

Congratulations on a stunning motorsport photo. It has just about everything going on - sideways at speed too. The look of panic on the co-drivers face is priceless, as is the warning sign wedged on the Ford Escorts bumper. Hope that didn't overheat the engine before the finish of the stage. Excellent downhill mountain bike photo. Looks like a flash has been used to fill in the shadows and pop the highlights and if so works really well. Not much margin for error with the timing of the shot so superb technique. It certainly is all action and has huge impact. Thank you for sharing.

Superb panning shot of Alex Rins. on the Suzuki. Thought more MotoGP images would have been submitted to the competition but this one stood out from any others. I think there may have been a little artistic editing but even so the result is very good.

This very unusual sport made it into my top 10 on merit. At first the sport of winter polo attracted me then on closer inspection proved to be an excellent sports photo telling the story of the sport. It's almost always necessary for the viewer to see the eyes of the competitors in any sports photo and the head on viewpoint achieves this perfectly.
