I thought this was a very good use of black and white. It really helps the QB stand out even more in this photo. B&W is also not one used as often with football photography so great use of it. The wider view is also very well used but you still caught his facial expressions. Congratulations on the great photo!

You timed this shot absolutely perfect. Not only did you perfectly capture the QB in his throwing motion but also caught the lineman coming up just short of grabbing him for the sack and managed to keep all the players in frame in focus.

I loved your timing on this. One of the hardest things I have found with football photography is capturing the big hit but you absolutely nailed. This is the kind of photo the almost causes the viewer to hear the hit that is occurring in it.

Amazing use of a panning shot for a football photo. Using panning for this photo really made it stand out and is not something you see very often with football photography. This helps capture the speed of the game. I appreciate that you did not crop out the other player trying to catch him it adds a lot to the photo and helps tell the story with it.
