A stunning image from a great perspective. I love the low angle perspective of this image along with the overall clean look helped by a beautifully diffused background and foreground with the focus just being on the bird itself along with a few added drops of water from its dip. Good amount of details on the bird and just a hint of reflection finish this image off with the help of some nice light. Great image
Remarkable capture. This is arguably one of the hardest birds to photograph. It's certainly one of the hardest I've ever tried to photograph so I can appreciate this image from behind the camera if that makes sense. The image it self is brilliant the bird is sharp with detail it has the mud in its beak to build it's nest and even has a catch light in its eye which is superb. The back ground is for the most part clean diffused and almost distraction free except for the bokeh highlights at the bottom of the image which did draw my eye away from the bird unfortunately. This is still an amazing image and a worthy top 10.
Stunning details. Great use of depth of field getting the plane of focus parallel to your subject which also get you a nice perspective. Great colour and details thought out your subjects picking out the individual hairs and having both antenna's sharp on both butterflies is great. Some simular tones picked up the diffused background is also very nice as well. Great image
Beautiful shot. Another image where the low angle and perspective really adds to the impact of the shot and makes it stand out. In this case the light adds a lot to this image and I love the catch light in the eye too along with the water droplets falling from the beak which adds to the interest of this image. The bird is beautifully sharp with great details overall a great image.
A great Gannet portrait. I particularly like the fact that a lot of the tones from your subject can be found throughout the background speaking of which is creamy and diffused with no distractions making your subject standout. The Gannet itself is beautifully sharp with lots of details along his or her's seaweed that it take back to line it's nest. Great image.

Great image of mating Damselflies (Emerald) I think I could be wrong. The image is lovely and sharp. Its free of distractions which is not easy to do or achieve with this subject at least for me anyway. The colours are accurate and I love the matching tones throughout the image between subjects and background I think this helps make the image. If I may suggest something to look at that I do myself is to maybe have a look at a portrait orientation with the subjects being on a single stem especially if you have more room at the top of the image you could use. In any case it's a great image.
Great image of two courting Gannets. The interaction between the two Gannets is partly what makes this image the crop or closeness makes it feel more intimate and focuses the attention on the interaction of the birds which I like a lot. You have great details and colours with in the birds and a clean background that does not distract and handeld the exposure well again great image
A beautiful captured moment. I absolutely love the interaction between the mother and baby here. You also managed great feather details and accurate colours. The background is diffused enough and adds a little context as you can see it's in part of the colony. If I may make a humble suggestion and something I would try and do if this was my image. I would try and leave a bit more room under the feet not much more and perhaps include the rest of the neck at the top of the adult penguin. Still a great image
