Animals From Below (no flying or aquatic animals)

Crikey, this is cool. I had to look twice to understand it as at first I couldn't tell what was happening. This is a great thing as your image held me in. The cat is pin sharp and there are no distractions away from it either. A very well put together image, well done.

This is by far one of the best ways to capture an image of a dangerous animal from below and without being in danger or eaten! I love how sharp the cheetah is and how you've kept detail throughout the entire image. A small suggestion is to try and remove the aerial coming out of its back. It shouldn't be too hard to remove and would make a difference to the image. Other than that little thing the image is stunning and pin sharp. A great, well composed image. Well done.

This is a crazy image. I love the angle you have shot it at. Giraffes make great subjects for this contest as they tower above you. This doesn't mean they're easy to shoot though. You have handled this challenge incredibly well as the colours and contrast in the shady area under the head have great tones and depth of colour and detail. The sky is amazing too, very well done.

This is one of those images that you can't resist wondering what was on the photographers mind when they took the image! You are by far underneath this Howler Monkey, maybe by too much. It is just dangling on the branch like it's a couch. The image is well composed and has great depth of colours, tones and shadows. Very well done. (hope it didn't need the loo)

WOW, this is a stunning image. I really like how you have shot it in black and white as you have been able to create a deep and moody feeling image. Also it has given it a high contrast look. WOW, this is a sweet image! The face on the dog is super cute and draws you in. The colours and tones of it are stunning and it's pin sharp too. Nothing in the image distracts you away from its face either so a very well composed image, well done.

This is a really great, eye catching image. You have really stepped away from the norm by using infrared. The colours blend brilliantly and have created a stunning image of a horse which, without infrared, would not have worked. The horse is pin sharp and perfectly composed. WOW, this is a cryptic, puzzle of an image. To have shot this red squirrel from below and on a tree heading towards you is not only unique but brilliantly well seen. The colours and tones blend incredibly together and draw you in. A very sharp and interesting entry, congratulations.
