Animals from the Dog Family (in colour)

This is an impressive shot. The shade across the face of the wolf gives off a feeling of it being 'reveled from darkness' and it is a shot that makes me want to know more about the story behind it. I like the contrast of a white wolf on a black background and the shadow almost 'engulfing' the animal. A remarkable picture, definitely a well deserved second place.

This is a beautiful photo. The thing that stands out the most to me, are the eyes. The snow almost masks the wolf's face and this makes the eyes even more stunning.
Nothing can distract from this lovely animal and you have made sure that the background hasn't. Great photo.

This is a stunning photo. I love the focus the camera has on the wolf, which allows the fur to really make it look as if I am looking directly at the animal.
I like that it is solitary which allows the wolf to stand out on its own. A worthy fourth place.

This image drew me in from the start. The reason for this is because of the eyes. They are absolutely stunning and I find myself thinking they are gazing straight into my soul. I love the way that the fox is the main feature of this shot and this means that there is no where for it to hide. And there is no reason for it to. The fur has very warm colors which allows the eyes to stand out even more. A great photo worthy of first place.

This is an incredible action shot. I like the way that the magpie has been blurred out so that the main thing we focus on is the fox. I love the contrast between the green grass and the red fox. A great third place photo.
