Any Cameras

With the camera in the foreground and another photographer far off in the distance, this shot reminds me of an Oasis album cover. I hope that is not just me, though that has made this one of my personal favourites from the competition. The square shot and largely plain background place the emphasis on the camera facing us; very eye-catching.

Although this image is not particularly clear - it does not look to be deliberately blurry but rather a difficulty with shooting in low light (evenings) - the image is interesting. The orange hues and the ambiguity as to what the lady is taking a photo of makes for a cool combination.

A photograph with a lot of charm. The largest and most vibrantly toned bear, the viewer's eye is at first led to the teddy holding the camera on the right hand side, and then guided by his view leftwards thus following all three bears across the photograph. A very nicely composed image.

This portrait is lovely. Very sweet. While the camera itself in the foreground is blurred, the girl is clearer, as is the look of determination and concentration on her face. I like the composition of the shot, with her centralised against the plants in the background because it creates the effect of obscuring the height. We are in line with the camera and tripod as she is. Were the ground (or anything else recognisable) in the shot, we would naturally feel ourselves on a higher pane than her. Well done for the win, this is my personal favourite.
