This is an emotional photo and cannot truly tell the sadness the player feels at this point. I love the focus on the losing player and the blur of the winning team.

Wow. Great details and clarity. One of my favorite close up shots on PC. If you look deep into his eye you can see the subtle lighting used for this shot. I enjoy his stare. I cannot get over the clarity of his face. You can feel his skin just looking at him.

This photo tells me of a man with confidence. I know that most people would consider him hiding in the shadows but I see it differently.

The thought that he doesn't need to be seen in bright lights or in a fancy studio setting goes a long way in my mind. Strength and confidence are attributes that tell our life story. Freedom is what we make of our lives no matter what circumstances are in our past.

When I first looked at this I was immediately drawn to the center of the frame. I could see this hanging in the hallway of a dance studio or theatre for performing arts.
