Art From the Everyday

This contest has been wonderful to look at, but very hard to judge. After evaluating all the entries several times over, I picked for my winner this simple, yet very dramatic composition of a fork laying by itself on a table illuminated by the low-lying sun. There were more than a few images submitted into this contest using forks as the muse. All were amazing in their own way, but the extra long shadow and placement of the fork is what makes this particular composition so unique and noteworthy.
