Asian Temples

I love the angle at which this photo was taken, as creates so much more interest and drama than a straight on shot. The use of black and white also enhances the image and creates striking shadows and adds to the atmosphere of the shot.

I was looking for interesting images in this competition and this shot is a great example! This close up beautifully captures the geometrical designs featured in many Asian temples. The vibrant colours and intricate patterns can be seen clearly along with the hidden statues.

This photo is an amazing array of bright and unusual colours which stood out from many of the other temples in the competition. It is a confident shot which focuses beautifully on the shapes and details of this wall. There is so much to interest the viewer!

This such an orginal and imaginative shot which bravely focuses on the back of the statue. The colours and textures are beautifully captured in the natural light. I love the contrast of the slightly out of focus temple in the background.
