Love this image! Bald eagles make wonderful parents and your image reinforces the patience of raising their young. Both male and female eagle are very attentive to their young even when the eaglets are equal in size to the parent. Bald Eagles are amazing birds to watch and difficult birds to capture in mid air which is why this image caught my eye. These magnificent birds can fly at speeds up to 100 miles per hour (160 km/h). When you pair this skills with its keen eyesight where the eagle can see up to two miles away, one wonders how any fish stands a chance once this powerful predator makes its move.
