Strong And Beautiful "This is an image which makes me so want to cry as its my beautiful daughter who has just been diagnosed with Alopecia Areata and has been told that she will never get her hair back. Along with all her other problems and the stress which has caused it I really don't know how she copes. She is so strong and even more beautiful than ever. I did ask her if I could post these photos first and she said yes to promote Alopecia Awareness, I love my daughter so much!!! "

This is a delightful photograph.. I love the use of black and white and the crisp focus. The wrinkles freckled skin adds personality. Great attention to detail. The reflection of the umbrella in the Ray Bans in wonderful. I don't know if this photo was actually taken on a beach or created in a studio, but I love it. What a dramatic photograph. The bold split level lighting with the bright light and dark shadow is powerful. I like your choice of a dark background and the way the shadowed side of the face disappears into the background. There is just a glimmer of a catch light in the model's left eye, enough to add life and contribute to the dark mood. While the face is split by the light line right down the middle, the curved terminator line on the bald head and chest adds even more drama. This is a wonderful portrait. The catch lighting brings the model to life and makes her appear bright and perky. The bare shoulders and tilt of the hat all add to the sassy attitude. The dark eyebrows and smoky eyeshadow works well with the dark hat and the lighting.. Great shot and attention to detail.
