what a stunning image. The clarity in the eyes is superb and gives the image life. I love the Depth of field with the main focal point being the eyes and the beak showing out of focus, the camera and lens combination is exactly what i shoot with on a regular basis. The detail in the feather is beautiful, she's a pretty lady and her colouring sublime. An image to be proud of.

A wonderful shot! I spend a lot of time sitting in fields and hedgerows hidden under my hide capturing Barn Owls, this shot is as natural as it gets, the location, lighting and birds posture all caught and timed perfectly, he's a beauty and in perfect feather, a shot to be proud of. I had a good feeling about this image when i first viewed it and knew then it was my winner.
