Big Cats of Africa (in the wild)

This one caught my eyes for several reasons... Clearly the photographer had to deal with a difficult situation with an animal that was probably sleeping... But he was able to create a story...There is poetry in the moment... The warmth of the green and the ray of light briging a golden moment upon the head and whiskers of the big cat. This is a well exposed and well composed image. Well done!

Sometimes, the value of an image comes from the simplicity. This is what I liked about this one. The emptiness draws you in and creates a mood to the image. It works. It is hard to find new ways to photograph those amazing animals, and you found one. Well done!
