I haven't seen a bird feeder this long before with 17 Goldfinches perched on it and another flying towards it, it works well with the narrow crop. I would have liked it to be a bit more sharper, it might have been because of slight camera shake or because of a tight crop or just focusing error.
But well done in getting a commend.

Please show me your photos of one or more birds of any kind with a bird feeder container. Images should show feeder containers holding bird seed or any other kind of food that birds would eat such as peanuts, mealworms, suet balls etc. Please no photos of birds at bird tables.
Just goes to show you you can take excellent photos of the most common birds like this Sparrow photo with the bird feeder. Your chosen shutter speed of 1/3200 has frozen these three Sparrows with the one in mid flight just right, which in turn gave you an aperture of f/4 which turns the background nicely out of focus which makes the Sparrows and the feeder center of attention. My only gripe is the stem on the left which I find a little distracting but all in all an excellent image.

What a lovey photo of some great tits on the feeders with the cherry blossom, it just goes to show you don't need to get close ups off the birds on feeders to be picked for 1st place.
The fence in the background is nicely out of focus by using an f/4 aperture which in turn gave you a shutter speed of 1/800 to freeze any subject movement.
I really like this image because it makes a change to see a bird photo that is not close up, by incorporating the surroundings you have achieved an excellent image.
Well done in getting 1st place.

Another unusual bird feeder which I have not seen before with the three Blue tits on it. I think I would be inclined to slightly move the camera to the right a bit more because I think the Blue tit on the right is a bit too close to the edge or maybe you cropped it like this?, if so you could have easily got rid of the distracting dark line on the upper right by using the clone brush tool, I really enjoyed looking at this image.
Well done in getting a highly commend.
I think your choice of doing a selective colour edit has worked well with this Great tit on the feeder by turning the background to black and white it really complements and shows the Great tit off. It's a shame that the Great tits head is slightly out of focus because it looks like the camera focused on the bird feeder which lets the photo down slightly. If the head was a bit sharper I would have gave it a higher place.
Well done in getting 10th place.
What a great photo of a Blue Tit caught in mid flight heading towards the feeder.
The 1/4000 shutter speed you used has caught the Blue tit in mid flight catching excellent detail of him, I also like the square crop. The only slight distaction for me is the three brown leafs at the bottom of the feeder maybe you could have cloned them out, or by using the inpainting brush tool to erase them, but all in all an excellent image.
Well done in getting 2nd place.
