This is an excellent portrait, showing a very beautiful scene that absolutely tells you a story, The dark skies and raindrops, the greenery below the bird, and mostly, the way this Puffin is seated, it shows that he's used to it, but still annoyed. Congratulations on this win, this photo stood out as it was the most complete image I saw in this contest. Thank you for submitting it.

Congratulations on a second place with this image. This is a fantastic framing of this image. The Royal Crowned Crane is a beautiful bird as it is, and you did a fantastic work at capturing its beauty and innocent look. The cropping you used on this image definitely adds to the portrait effect of it. Absolutely a great shot. Thank you for entering into my contest.

This photo is an absolute beauty, and I personally love the Green or Crested Turaco's. I really love how those three feathers are sticking out, giving it a little extra character to this photo. The use of depth of field and the almost matching green background are stunning. Wonderful image, I could see this on a wall. Thank you so much for entering in this contest and congratulations for your top 3 result!

This shot stands out to me for several reasons, first, I absolutely love hummingbirds, second, the background contrast is phenomenal. Secondly, I have a trip to Madera Canyon scheduled later on this year, and seeing photos like this one definitely gets me excited about my upcoming trip there (it is not often that I see images at places I am able to access). I really like the balance on your picture, between the bird angle and the branch with the little stick coming up too. Wonderful image, congratulations on this top 10, to add to all the accolades this image already has, and thank you for entering into this contest.
