**Open to photographers with a ranking outside the top 1000. There are two other 'Birds' contests currently open to other ranks. Take a look at the <a href="https://www.photocrowd.com/leaderboard/">leaderboard</a> for more information on Photocrowd rankings.** Photographing birds can be rewarding and frustrating in equal measure. But with patience and practice you’ll become better at capturing them in flight, perched, feeding or tending their young. Remember to practise your focusing skills so you can get sharper images of moving subjects.
