Simplicity at its best. I love the sheer, smooth water, how its pretty but yet it keeps your eye on the duck, and her beautiful eye. So peaceful, and beautiful, it makes you feel like your sitting right there in the peace and quite of the mountains. Good job!

This picture makes me happy, full of color and light. You really did capture a great shot of this puffin. The composition really brings your attention to the bird, then leading your eye around across the rocks, to the twinkly light of the ocean, and then back to your subject of interest. Great job!

The quality of this picture is great, how clear it is, with just the tips if the birds wings blurred to give the impression of movement, the lighting is beautiful how it intensifies it, and the finishing touch, the specks of golden water. Well done.

The clarity, colors, its all spectacular. You really showed how beautiful this bird is. I love how bright the orange is, brightening up his eye, and then being cooled by the light blue of his feathers bring you down to the detail of his little feet. Love it!

The composition is just spectacular; I love the bird crouching against the gold, the silver of the spider webs, and how the rustic wood give the overall country feel. You did well to get this shot. Keep up the good work.

This contest is for the birds of the wild and free, no restraints. It's one thing to take pictures of these flighty creatures when they can't leave, it's another when you're hiking through the landscape, camera in hand, hoping for a chance to capture a photo of one of our feathered friends. Or you might get lucky and find one in your own back yard, ether way the satisfaction of getting that perfect shot is still there. Have fun and show your best work in this contest.

What an interesting way to capture a picture of these birds, I love it! Its such an interesting composition. Your eye wanders from the birds to the blurry foreground, to the splashing water and back to the birds. And that's one of the most important parts of any picture; keeping the attention on the main subject but yet letting it draw your eye all over the picture. Well done!
