You really managed to capture the moment, and although some people would comment that the birds head isn’t in sight, I for one feel it isn’t important as the birds and prey are in focus the background is sufficiently out of focus to avoid distraction and the water droplets add to the feeling of motion.

Amazing shot of such a beautiful bird, I will look up the coda falconry as I am less than 45 minutes away thank you for sharing this image and giving me an idea of where I can go for more photography experiences

Great shot the crop is perfect along with the composition and the face is in perfect focus. You also have a good depth of field as the background is blurred and not distracting in fact it compliments the colours of the birds natural camouflage

I loved this image with the reflection and the moment of the wing touching and thought it far more telling than the image of the birds with both wings touching the water. The background is out of focus and bird spot on well done

What I would like to see in this contest are your photographs of birds of prey in flight. Photos could show the birds either at a birds of prey demonstration, or in the wild, but the birds in the photo must be shown in the air during flight. Photos can be in colour or black and white.

I liked the reflection and the bird about to strike its prey, there is an anticipation of what came next a fish or a miss? The water isn’t causing any distraction, the bird is well exposed and in focus, great work thank you for taking the time to enter
