Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge.What I love mostly about this image is the fashion in which the barbed wire is used to enhance the portrait.The eyes are extremely piercing and draws one's attention into the image- being the eye's to the the soul The black and white also helps depict a scene from maybe World War 1 Or World War 2 and the suffering in the concentration camps at the time. In days gone by the photographer was limited to black and white photography- until the miracle of colour came into play. Strangely though,we tend to slowly move back to this retro fashion opf using black and white again and this can give otherwise colourful images an amazing feel .I would like to see any of your best shots in black and white or even sepia-this is open to interpretation and your shot may be of anything your heart desires .Mostly be creative and have fun with this technique- looking forward to see what you come up with.
