I love and selected this image for its composition. This is not a shot that you can setup. You have captured the moment where the cat makes a gentle dynamic form showing the perfect "S" shape that frames the flowers and petals. It is a pity that you did not give the image a title and some sort of explanation. Has the cat knocked over the flowers and exploring his / her handiwork? We are left to wonder. An excellent and well framed moment. Well done and congratulations on making my top ten selection.
An excellent macro shot that makes both my and his hair stand on end! The hairs are well detailed and defined, The eyes are sharp and appear to be be lit with several light sources. I like that he is in a natural setting. You have managed to capture a remarkable amount of detail in this tiny spider and I know they can be a difficult subject, always jumping when you just have the shot lined up. Great shot, well done and congratulations on making my top ten selection.
An outstanding shot of a baby Orangutan and his/her parent. The bond is strong with the protective arm around the youngster but the eyes tell the full story, The exuberance of youth and the look of motherhood. The baby's arm looks as if he is reaching out to embrace life. The lighting is top notch and the subjects well framed with beautiful contrasts. A remarkable shot a well worthy of my number one selection. Well done.
This image was made for a black background shot. No distractions, Full concentration on the spinning pot and hand. Great contrast between the wet and dry sections of the hand. The fingers are long and artistic and I particularly like that the middle finger is double jointed and is forming the upper lip of the pot. I wonder if this is because it has carried out this operation thousands of times? The lighting is excellent and the image tells a complete story. Well done and congratulations on making my top ten selections.
