Take a look at the <a href="https://www.photocrowd.com/leaderboard/">leaderboard</a> for more information on Photocrowd rankings.** Sometimes defined as "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light", Bokeh is a technique that gives an aesthetic quality to the out of focus blur of certain areas of a photo. Using a fast lens at a wide aperture, different characteristics can be achieved depending on the size and shape of the lens. The effects are often dreamy and pleasing to the eye.
