Boy Meets Girl

I love the isolation the couple appear to have yet create great warmth from the kiss and embrace. This is probably a busy location but the photographer has managed to create this isolated feel that harmonizes with the emotion. The detail and textures give a great feel to this image and I suspect this only really works in the black and white version. Well done.

Very artistic in your interpretation of boy meets girl here. The snow is creating a very magical theme and the romance is emphasized by the closeness of the couple. The red jacket really stands out against the white and brightens the photo and catches the eye. A closer crop? may improve the image slightly, but a great effort, well done.

I really liked this image and I have very fond recent memories of Charles Bridge. The capture gives you a great feel of depth almost like they have been added in layers onto a blank page. If I am being picky I would perhaps like to see a little more contrast in the foreground, but you certainly get the feel of the rain and the closeness of the couple under the umbrella. Great capture, well done.

It may be a simple staged image but the characters win through with there alternative style and look. Personally I feel a portrait style crop would work better on this as the negative space does not play to the advantage of this image. I also feel that perhaps the couples position could benefit from standing where there is more light catchment. Despite my personal critiques I really like the image, well done.
