Bricks are small rectangular building blocks, typically made from fired or sun-dried clay. This contest is to show bricks and brickwork, from the functionally mundane to the decorative. You may decide to show a building or structure made from bricks, or a closer detailed shot of some more unusual brickwork showing a design pattern, or shaped bricks. Alternatively, you could show part of the process of the manufacture of bricks, maybe bricks being made by hand. Please do not enter images of stone or concrete structures, just bricks. Images could work equally well in colour or black & white. Please make sure that bricks or brickwork structures are the focus of your image. I look forward to your entries.
Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.
Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
