The shortlist for 'Buildings in Use' has been announced. View here.

‘Buildings in Use’ images should show occupied buildings and populated exteriors. Each building has a specific purpose and creates areas of activity. These images should combine the activity with the architecture and not distract from it.

4 images from each of The Architectural Photography Awards' 4 main categories – 'Exterior', 'Interior', 'Sense of Place' and 'Buildings in Use' – will be shortlisted for the overall winners' prize (16 in total).

Prize details

4 images from each of The Architectural Photography Awards' 4 main categories – 'Exterior', 'Interior', 'Sense of Place' and 'Buildings in Use' – will be shortlisted for the overall winners' prize (16 in total).

The overall winner of The Architectural Photography Awards 2018 will take home a $3000 USD cash prize. 3 runners up will be awarded Architectural Photography Awards certificates.
