I love this image as it was clearly taken in difficult conditions with the snow falling. The white background draws the eye to the male Red Deer group and good use of depth of field to bring the deer in the foreground and background in to focus. This contest is an opportunity for you to showcase your best colour photos of the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland; one of Scotland's national treasures. Images of landscapes and scenery, wildlife and heritage are all permissible across all of the seasons.. Colour photos only, no black and white. Love this landscape image of the Eilein Castle. The sun lighting up the clouds in the sky and their reflection on the calm waters of the Loch creates a wonderful mood. The castle draws you in to the scene and the remnants of snow in the background work well. Image meets the brief with a title and location in the Cairngorms identified.
What a great image and composition which tells a compelling story. The cyclist next to the lamplit tent surveys the surrounding magnificent scenery in the background.
