**Open to photographers with a ranking outside the top 1000. There are two other 'Capturing movement' contests currently open to other ranks. Take a look at the <a href="https://www.photocrowd.com/leaderboard/">leaderboard</a> for more information on Photocrowd rankings.** Photos, by definition, capture and immortalise a moment of time. But, just because they freeze motion, doesn’t mean they can’t also portray it. Whether it’s capturing an animal running or the leaves of trees that are blowing in the wind, each of these scenes come alive if you know the photographic techniques to convey the movement in them properly.
