Number 1.

Thank you for entering this competition. It is an interesting subject, and not one i expected too many entries for. This one fit the brief.

The Star trails just poking through the clouds and the foreground and car trails are incredibly sharp.

The high aperture creating lovely bursts of light as well.

Doing a single huge 20+ Minute exposure is brave and it worked out fantastic.

A Worthy winner.

Stunning Work.

Love the lightpainting, the stars and the vehicle.

I like the fact the Pixelstick along with the van lights gave the foreground some nice definition.

It is difficult to do this sort of thing in low light, so really happy with the results here.

This got commended for a couple of reasons. It's not completely on brief, but the fact that theres a Westfalia, with some magic lightpainting going on, i'm pretty happy with it. If it wasn't just in the blue hour, and done a little later, with a couple of stars showing the way it would have been up top.

Nice work.

I love this composite. It would have finished in the top 10 if it wasn't.

Epic work with a fantastic foreground and nicely lit with a few different colours.

Nice and Sharp all the way through and a cracking image all round.

Thankyou for entering this competition. Yours was one of the small amount of shots that fit the brief.

Loads of cool car trails and you can see the stars great.

A slightly shorter exposure time and a slightly higher iso would have perfected this, and stopped the stars from trailing too much.

Cracking Effort.

Not strictly car lights, but Hikers i'm expecting, or maybe a cyclist. Good enough for me.

A nicely rounded image. Maybe giving the foreground a bit more torchlight over the 30 seconds will give more clarity and interest in the foreground. Nice work.

A grand 10 minute exposure. I do really like this shot, but where are the car trails!

Either way, a really nicely put together image. Huge exposures are really difficult to get right, and i think this one is spot on. You got a perfect mix of the street lights and the star light. The clouds are an interesting element as well. Great Work.

Whats not to love.

Nice tight stars, the Aurora and Cars going into the distance with a lovely starburst at the end of the road.

Thanks for entering, and meeting the criteria of a single shot with all the right elements.

Cracking Work.

Nice work here. Thankyou for entering, and meeting the brief.

Nice foreground elements and a nice trail.

this was the same camera i started my astro work with, and i can see the same things in it, that frustrated me enough to upgrade to the D750. the lights of the Town/City in the background will have blown out the image, so good work editing that down. The Bench is sharp which is key, and catching the milkyway core from most locations in the UK is difficult.

Great Work.

Light trails absolutely rock, and capturing them with car light trails is even more awesome. Captured in one shot, what's the best you can show me.

I like this. The car trials in the distance, ruins and a nice trail. It's always difficult to get these shots right, but this has all the elements of a great photo.

Nice work and keep shooting this style as it will come together perfectly soon.
