Number 1.
Thank you for entering this competition. It is an interesting subject, and not one i expected too many entries for. This one fit the brief.
The Star trails just poking through the clouds and the foreground and car trails are incredibly sharp.
The high aperture creating lovely bursts of light as well.
Doing a single huge 20+ Minute exposure is brave and it worked out fantastic.
A Worthy winner.
This got commended for a couple of reasons. It's not completely on brief, but the fact that theres a Westfalia, with some magic lightpainting going on, i'm pretty happy with it. If it wasn't just in the blue hour, and done a little later, with a couple of stars showing the way it would have been up top.
Nice work.
Thankyou for entering this competition. Yours was one of the small amount of shots that fit the brief.
Loads of cool car trails and you can see the stars great.
A slightly shorter exposure time and a slightly higher iso would have perfected this, and stopped the stars from trailing too much.
Cracking Effort.

A grand 10 minute exposure. I do really like this shot, but where are the car trails!
Either way, a really nicely put together image. Huge exposures are really difficult to get right, and i think this one is spot on. You got a perfect mix of the street lights and the star light. The clouds are an interesting element as well. Great Work.

Nice work here. Thankyou for entering, and meeting the brief.
Nice foreground elements and a nice trail.
this was the same camera i started my astro work with, and i can see the same things in it, that frustrated me enough to upgrade to the D750. the lights of the Town/City in the background will have blown out the image, so good work editing that down. The Bench is sharp which is key, and catching the milkyway core from most locations in the UK is difficult.
Great Work.

Light trails absolutely rock, and capturing them with car light trails is even more awesome. Captured in one shot, what's the best you can show me.
