A beautiful bird and the reflection is quite a shot! I especially appreciate how the angle of the bird creates two different images of the same winged one. I really like how they seem to play on each other and how the reflection in the mirror almost seems like it is looking at the one on the car door. I also note the third image in the car door glass. Almost like a trilogy in a single image. Thank you!
This has an ethereal feel to it. The sharpness of the image and the similarities of colors create a seamless stream of color and harmony. When I look at this image the feeling that comes up for me is Calm. Yet the image is so intricate and the reflection of the water creates some glimmer of movement. The darkness of the shadows in the rocks highlight the white places in the rock. The beak at that angle and the shadow in the water come together to create a work of art
Cardinals are my favorite bird AND seeing them in action captured so beautifully leaves me feeling breath taken. This looks like a gymnast act out in nature and the lineup of the birds is nothing short of incredible. the melted colors of the green foliage and snow create a beautiful backdrop and the large patch of snow on the bird feeder seems to draw in the eye into focus creating a mesmerizing eye movement and feeling of motion. i appreciate the sharpness of the wings in flight and the slight blending of the bottom cardinals wings both into the background and with the colors of the bird feeder.
Flying seems so magical and this image captures it. I love the bright orange of the beak and the 'expression' on her face. The contrast of the dark background and the light tones of the bird really work well together. The patio chairs seem to create a space for the bird to land at least in the minds eye but also creates a border in a sense.
This is a winning shot featuring beautiful red tones of female cardinal. I love that one can see the fine details on the bottoms of her tail feathers. I appreciate how she is slightly off center and how almost perfectly divides the background which has a sharp contrast of sharp details and blurred out greenery. Capturing birds in movement is not an easy feat. Thank you for this beautiful image.

The colors on this image go so exquisitely well together. The sharpness of this picture and the blur of the bird in the background seamlessly create a work of art. I love how the flowers offset the detailed aspects of the right side of the picture creating a sense of balance but also leaving space where the eye can rest. Gorgeous!

Please enter your best photos of cardinal birds. Images can show any cardinal bird, for example the red bird often seen on Christmas cards and in snow, the brown/yellow female with its bright orange beak, desert cardinals, or even the rarer albino cardinals, all of which can be fascinating subjects to photograph. I look forward to seeing your photos.
