I see this mask entering the landscape and in all respects being part of the picture. Excellent separation between two colors (ochre and white). I really like this position of the person, because he seems to be waiting for something and he is certainly at his ease. Field reduction helps to see the figure better.

A different carnival, but it is very fascinating. Day of the Dead is a Mexican celebration relating to the remembrance of the deceased; of pre-Columbian origin, it takes place in the first days of November, in conjunction with the Catholic celebration of the dead.
