ChinaBase Travel is a travelling agency based in Shanghai, who beyond travelling is very involved with photography, in particular, mobile photography. Each year CBT hosts a Mobile Photography Contest with esteemed awards and prizes.

So in accordance to the 6th edition of CB Mobile Photo Contest (9 weeks, Jul 1-Aug 31, 2019), we wish to celebrate the city and all its wonders in this pre-contest ‘warm up’. So capture your exploration through the city and document the unique moments and aspects the city offer. Enter with any scenery that proves why the city itself is a destination worthy of exploration, don’t feel limited – feel free to be creative!

The expert judge winner will win a $150 cash prize + $150 voucher for any trip on chinabasetravel.com. The community voted winner will win a $150 voucher for any trip on chinabasetravel.com.

Both winners and their respective photographs will have the option to enter directly into the finalists round in the 6th edition of CB Mobile Photo Contest, resulting in a chance of winning even bigger cash prizes.
How it works
Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.
Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
