Close-Up Bees

I love the fact you can see individual pollen spores coating the bee itself. Theres also something that gets me about a darker bee itself. It provides an extra layer of contrast between the bee and the pollen itself. I also enjoy how the bee itself is almost in between two flowers, like it cannot make up its mind. At first glance I didn't realize the parasites. Do you know what kind of parasite it is? Really nice work!

Theres something about the framing of this image that makes me feel like the bee is actually underneath a mushroom. The detail is pretty amazing, and I love how the bee is layered into the flower itself. It creates a different angle that most people don't get. Really nice work!

There is something so pleasing about this photo it is hard to describe! The symmetry used here is wonderful. It almost feels like the bee is bowing into the flower. The strict focus on the bee versus the flower I can imagine was difficult to achieve. Thank you for submitting, and nice work!

There is something about the contrast of a bee against a white flower that gets me every time. I'm also glad you didn't get stung, nice job evading that one. With these flowers that extend over the bee, I find it more difficult to keep the bee in focus and get the correct amount of detail between the two. You did a really nice job!
