Colour combinations

First thank you to all of you for the many beautiful pictures submitted to this contest. The combination of red and green has been used in many of the submitted pictures, and it really is a color combination that attracts the eye. This picture is a bit different in the choice of the blue-green shade, which I think gives a slightly more sophisticated touch.That's the reason why this beautiful picture of a poppy gets first place in this contest. Another nice combination of red and green. An image that from the start got a place in my top ten. The picture was replaced with a new version along the way, and although I actually liked the first submitted best, it has maintained a place in my top ten. Now, of course, I have not been able to compare the two variants at the same time, but I think the background of the first one had a bit more depth of field, which gave a striped effect in the red background that I liked. Here is a picture that gives the mood a boost. Nice and simple almost abstract composition with the blue and yellow chair seats. Another classic color combination for the contrasting colors yellow and blue. Here in a very elegant way with the white background, which gives the image a nice simplicity.The image has a fine symmetrical composition that is only broken by the shadows from the fittings. A beautiful and harmonious still life image with the contrasting colors yellow and blue. The image is beautifully cropped so an abstract composition is displayed even if you can still recognize the subject. The picture works very quiet because of the beautiful mirror in the still water.
