Coloured Minimalism

A very sharp high contrast image. The feather looks soft but at the same time detailed with an interesting shape. The barbed wire taunt and sharp. I like the hue of the background, it is in keeping with a country theme and really makes the subject "pop". A nice choice of aspect ratio makes a compelling image. Well done and congratulations on making my top ten selection.

My first choice selection for this contest. Empty space overlaid with a see through pattern. The mesh has a nice rim light, the pattern continuing across the leaf with a distorted shadow. The leaf is strategically placed and effectively lit making a very strong contrast with the background. A strong and balanced minimal image using pattern, contrast and lighting. Great image, congratulations, well done.

A beautifully balanced and harmonious image. The slow shutter speed has produced the desired soft water and reflections. The camera position is as near perfect as possible with the soft horizon aligning with the bottom of the sheds. Well done and congratulations on making my top ten selection.

A very surreal minimalist image. By pushing the white to the maximum you have highlighted the steps that appear to float. Naturally we have stop and read the sign which ironically says "stop" The red flowering plant and window balance the image perfectly. Well done and congratulations on making my top ten selection.
