Contemporary Sculpture of the 20th & 21st Century

I find this to be a very powerful image that fully meets my brief, it's so much more that just a record shot, the replacement background helps to focus your mind to the horror of that day, A well deserved winner.

You know instantly that this sculpture is off Martin Luther King one of 20th century's greatest men, I admire the angle the photographer has chosen and the mono treatment works so well, technically the whole image has been very well handled.

I love this unusual view of the Kelpies, so much more interesting than the bland images we are use to seeing, the texture and detail of their construction really are first class and the image fully deserves it's top 10 spot.
