On first view of this image I knew it would be in my top 10. After a few times of going back to it and taking it all in I knew I had a winner in my eyes. Vintage, yes, and the depth and background are amazing. i love the way you have placed the main building in the foreground, leaving it wide open for the beautiful countryside. I love the beautiful detail in this image. From the stone work on the building to the water on the mill, all have been captured beautifully. The detail on the water mill of the water turning it is really nice. I think it is really well composed. The angle of the mill and building leads the to the little building in the background making me want to know what that building is used for. This is a beautiful image of Sudbury church. Very well edited into vintage. its such a shame that there can only be one first place. The picture has a really moody effect, I say moody and not gloomy. The composition is really good and the details you have captured are excellent. The angle of the church is well thought out and using the gravestones in the foreground at this angle seems to add more depth. The old gravestones have worked really well with the vintage and you could be led to believe that this is how the photograph is supposed to be, original. everything about it it from the grass up to the sky is well captured and well edited.
