Congratulations! A worthy winner.

You are our winner because of the effort you have put in to creating this fantastic image.

The idea of seeing a flower, then deciding to freeze it and finally using LED torches from behind to create the final image shows a lot of creativity, imagination and motivation to create something unique.

The image is well composed and very sharp dispite Ice being a tricky subject to focus on. The sharpness of the foreground exaggerates the great textures created by the ice melting around the flower.

We also like the reference to Star Trek and space ;)

Congratulations!

Amazing colours and depth in this image. You almost had us fooled that it was an aerial shot of a beach!

The vibrant colour of the orange draws the eye. the viewer's gaze then moves up the photo following the light blue, and finally into the depths of the water.

Great intuition to get close up and create a new landscape from something small, well done!

A super sharp image which well deserves a place in our top 10.

The colours and details on the wings are inspirational and we really like the contrast of the brown against the orange. The red details on the wings also add a nice touch to this combination of colours.

Top job.

This is a great use of both colour and everyday objects!

We really liked the changing colours shining through each different hole.

Although it almost made our commendations list, we thought this image would benefit a little more from shooting straight on to the grater holes, adding contrast between the sharp edges of the holes and the out of focus background rather than the focus dropping off towards the top of the image.

Super image! The symmetry used works very well and is very effective. We are really impressed with how you have used angled perspex sheets with polarised light to make the colour.

Technically, the image is very sharp and composed well.

Congratulations on producing such a nice image.
