Creative Portraits of People

I am so in love with this image. The warm toned lighting compliments the model's skin tone perfectly, and really makes the deep brown shades in her eyes stand out. The use of side lighting has created some nice dramatic shadows on one side of the face. By keeping both eyes out of the shadows and highlighted by the light, it helps solidify them as the focal point of the image. The shallow depth of field has created some lovely bokeh in the background of the image, and I love the simplistic pose the model is in.

The colours in this image are SO stunning, and that is what drew me to it in the first place. The side lighting on the model's hair adds some really nice highlights. The warm coral colour of the smoke compliments the rest of the warm tones within the image. I personally would love to see a shot like this with the model staring straight into the camera, it would be a very dynamic shot. The shallow depth of field has created some really nice bokeh in the background, and helps keep the focus of the image on the model's face. A massive well done!

I absolutely adore the simplicity of this image. The bright orange sunglasses are a good contrast against the black outfit and compliment the model's skin tone perfectly. The pose is very high fashion and helps draw the focus to the model's face well. Compositionally, I'm a huge fan of the cropping of the image and like the fact that there isn't an unnecessary amount of background. I also love that the model is staring straight into the lens, as it makes for a very dynamic capture. Huge well done, and congrats on top 3.

The composition of this image is so stunning and caught my attention straight away. Normally, I like the eyes to be the focal point of portraits; however, this is so unique. The shallow depth of field has created some lovely bokeh in the background, and helps draw the attention to the model's face. The position of the hands within the image is perfect and they frame the face nicely. The cool tones within the image compliment the grey paint on the model's hands and face, and are a nice contrast to the warmer red tones in the lips. Well done on top 10!

This image is so stunning, I'm obsessed. I really like the pose the model is in, and having her looking away from the lens helps soften the image. The editing of the image in post is also lovely and well done. The muted, pastel colours have been kept consistent within the main image and the things added in post. You really have created a dreamy, ethereal effect
