Crowds Watching Sunrise or Sunset (in colour)

Thank you very much for participating in my contest, and congratulations on securing first place. Undoubtedly a crowd! deliberately awaiting the beautiful sunset in Myanmar. In my opinion, the composition, dominated by a diagonal that cuts across the frame, formed by the colorful boats filled with people, makes this image particularly intriguing to explore. Additionally, the stillness of the water reflecting the colors of the sunset, the horizon and its reflection in the background, and finally the small strip of black sand on the right, all balance the image beautifully.

In my opinion, the starburst effect of the sun is perfect in this composition, which I find to be perfectly balanced between the sky, the dark silhouette of the mountains, and the illuminated peak where the people are enjoying the sunrise/sunset. The pleasant moment these people are experiencing has been beautifully captured and frozen in this stunning image.

There’s no doubt that this is one of the most popular spots in Mykonos to watch what I assume is the sunset, given the large crowd. In my opinion, the windmills, contrasted against the clear sky, immediately draw attention, inviting further exploration downward through the frame. The beautiful warm light, with reddish tones, highlights the white of the buildings, and finally, the people all gazing at the sun bring life and scale to the entire image.

Thank you for participating in my contest, and congratulations! Wonderful Seville, one of my favorite cities in Spain. In my opinion, the warm yellow of the Setas, enhanced by the sunset light in contrast with the blue sky, makes this photograph stand out. The curve of the walkway leading to the crowd creates dynamism and depth, with the perfect touch of the woman near the camera. The photographer’s eye has captured a less obvious perspective, one that most people overlook from this magnificent viewpoint.

The colors of the sky, contrasted with the detailed silhouettes along the entire length of the pier and the palm trees on the right, immediately capture the viewer's attention. I imagine each and every one of the reclining chairs is occupied by people enjoying this unforgettable moment.
