Dandelions (in colour)

Thankyou to everyone who submitted photos in this contest. There were so many beautiful images of dandelions in all forms, including still life settings. What a gorgeous macro of a seed head with water drops. I really like how you have composed and placed this in the frame. Beautifully lit and great detail. Thankyou for entering this lovely image. I saw this image and immediately thought of sunshine and summer. I love that you have almost filled the frame with your macro allowing the viewer to see the detail and pollen, something that is not noticed when growing outdoors. The colour is beautiful, so cheerful. Thankyou for entering and a well deserved place in my top 10.

Another great dandelion and waterdrop image. This image leads the eye from the stem through to the actual seeds. The detail is lovely and I do like the contrast of colour. thankyou for entering and congratulations on judge 2nd place.

I really like this still life image. It has been kept natural and rustic giving the dandelion seed heads a comfortable and fitting scene. This certainly caught my eye on first view. Thankyou for entering and congratulations on judge 3rd place in Dandelions.
